Reception to unveil our modern mosaic
On Saturday 31st March – Easter Saturday – the Trust will be holding a public reception here at the Roman circus visitor centre to officially unveil our great modern Roman circus mosaic, which was made by and has been renovated by teams of volunteers. The modern mosaic is now finished and is displayed on a specially-built wall. The modern mosaic was designed by Peter Froste and he will be attending the reception – so it is your chance to see the modern mosaic and also to meet and talk to Peter Froste! Invited guests include members of the Friends of the Trust and members of the teams of volunteers who were led by Peter Herring in the making and renovating of the modern mosaic, ie local members of the National Association of the Decorative and Fine Arts Society, etc.
Reception 11.00 am-1.00 pm. Admission free – all welcome – local media.
