Things are cranking up for the move in a serious way now. Clearing and painting in the old army education centre is happening every day now but there is a huge amount to do. The building has electricity again – its arrival was a huge step forwards – but the water is still not reconnected and that won’t happen now until the end of next week.
Meanwhile back in our office, finds, books, and records of various sorts are being boxed in readiness for the trip to the new building. Thirty years’ worth of stuff to shift… Looking forwards to more help from the army with the heaviest items. That will be good. And in a few weeks time, the soldiers are to shift our ‘Roman’ circus mosaic into the garden of our new home. Great stuff!
It’s a massive job but we are getting there. Volunteers always wanted to help in the house and garden!
