A friendly little ferret came calling into the Trust’s offices in Lexden Road last week. The piles of boxes and bags of finds seemed irresistibly attractive to him as he rambled about the place presumably in search of something tasty to eat. Not surprisingly he had no luck. Old bones and dusty bits of pot failed to whet his appetite. The little creature is as fit as a fiddle and obviously somebody’s pet. The neighbours knew nothing about him so Adam had to take him home to keep him overnight in a hutch in his garden. The next day the RSPCA came and took the ferret away. If nobody claims him in the next few days, the ferret will be re-homed. If you are his owner or know where he comes from, please contact the RSPCA asap and brighten up his day.
