big annual ‘tea and talks’ by Colchester Archaeological Trust archaeologists

FCAT have been hosting the annual afternoon of ‘tea and talks’ for many years and it is always popular with FCAT members and members of the public. Trust archaeologists present illustrated talks on some of our recent (2017) projects, followed by tea/coffee and home-made cakes, when the archaeologists will mingle and chat! ‘Bread and Circuses’ present concert by Fern Teather

‘Bread and Circuses’ are presenting a live concert by Fern Teather, playing songs from her debut album Hiding in the dark, at the Roman circus centre on Saturday 14th November 2015. next YAC meeting on 9th February: Anglo-Saxon activities

The next Colchester YAC (Young Archaeologists’ Club) meeting is on the 9th February, with the theme of Anglo-Saxon activities, including making and decorating clay pots. The meeting will be at  Roman Circus House, 10am-12 noon. .
